After establishing the evergreen brand platform, we set out to seamlessly translate its visual language onto the video boards, ensuring a fully integrated brand experience throughout game day production.
I designed and animated hero cards for key game moments and title sequences, while also developing streamlined templates for data linking and live graphics playback, optimizing the efficiency of in-game visuals. Additionally, I crafted the overall videoboard layout, ensuring it complemented the broader design system.
To push the creative boundaries, we leveraged Unreal Engine to create virtual environments, immersing fans in teal-hued jungle atmospheres that could be dynamically adapted for multiple elements, including real-time editable volume productions.
Because I was involved in the initial creation of the brand system, I was able to seamlessly translate the 2D design language into immersive 3D environments, bringing the visuals to life in a way that felt cohesive and engaging. This integration also worked in reverse, allowing us to repurpose 3D elements for static graphic design content across all platforms, reinforcing a unified brand identity.
I directed the visual aesthetic of this project, incorporating technically advanced techniques to create a dynamic and expressive piece. This included batch-processing to generate a halftone pattern that seamlessly overlaid on the visuals, as well as frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation in Photoshop to add an organic, energetic quality to the motion.
These visually compelling moments were strategically crafted to highlight key players, their signature moves, and defining characteristics—enhancing their presence and impact within the piece.
The project was recognized with the prestigious IDEA Golden Matrix Award for Best Music Video, a peer-voted honor awarded by sports teams and venue production experts across the nation.
I collaborated with post-production editors to create this high-energy hype video, inspired by the viral phenomenon known as "Minshew Mania"—a phrase that captured the excitement surrounding our quarterback. Our goal was to visually embody the intensity and passion of the fans, bringing the "mania" to life through dynamic motion and bold stylistic choices.
To achieve this, we incorporated symmetrical mirroring, wireframe 3D animation, glitch effects, and abstract offset rotoscoping, creating an explosive, in-your-face experience that resonated with the audience. The final result was a visually charged, electrifying piece that amplified the energy of the moment and immersed fans in the unstoppable force of Minshew Mania.
Who doesn’t love a holiday-themed video? For our Halloween weekend game, we created a video that felt spooky and foreboding, immersing fans in an eerie atmosphere while staying true to the team’s identity.
Building on the theme of "Sacksonville," we amplified the aggressive energy of our defense, portraying them as an unstoppable force hunting down the opponent. To achieve this, we used Puppet Tools to bring 2D images to life, crafting a haunted, cinematic environment inspired by classic horror aesthetics.
Drawing inspiration from Kyle Cooper’s iconic title sequence for Se7en, we wove an homage to his work throughout the piece, integrating distressed textures, erratic motion, and unsettling cuts to heighten the suspense. The result was a stylized, bone-chilling tribute to horror films—perfectly capturing the intensity of the game-day atmosphere.
